Have you ever wanted to:
- improve your work environment?
- help your family resolve conflicts more peacefully?
- work with your neighbors to create a positive neighborhood?
It’s a reality – conflict is normal and inevitable whenever two or more people interact.
Do you know how to respond to bring about a “win-win” resolution?
The 40 hour basic mediator training is a fun, interactive class which is usually offered in the spring and fall at the CCRC. Class size is limited to 12. To better accommodate work schedules, the trainings are held six weekday evenings and two Saturdays over about two and a half weeks. Trainees will gain the skills needed to help others resolve conflicts. Even if the trainee doesn’t go on to become a mediator, they’ll use these skills many times in their everyday life!
The cost for this training course is $600.00, which includes an extensive Training Manual (also available electronically) and certification practicum. Some scholarship assistance is available – contact the CCRC office for details. This course meets requirements for Attorney CLE credits and Educator Clock Hours.
